Itinerary

Day 1Chandigarh – Shimla (112 Kms)

Pickup from Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station / Bus Stand by exclusive vehicle. Drive to Shimla, Shimla is 112 Kilometers from Chandigarh and will take 3:30 – 4:00 hours to reach. Enjoy the Scenic Himalayas from the window of your cab. On the ways, stopover at Pinjore Garden and ropeway at Timber Trail Resort if time permits. Cab will pass through Barog and Solan on the way to Shimla. The British called Shimla the “Queen of Hill Stations”. Shimla is situated in the northwest Himalayas. It was the summer capital of India before independence and it is now the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla derives its name from “Shyamala” the goddess Kali, whose temple existed in the dense forest that covered Jakhoo Hill in the early 19th century. Day 2Shimla – Kufri - Naldehra (Full day local Sightseeing) (150 Kms)

After Breakfast you will visit the Jakhoo Hill. It is the highest point in Shimla and offers a spectacular view of the town, hills and distant mountain ranges. The peak has a temple dedicated to the Lord Hanuman. After visiting the temple you will visit to Kufri. Day 4Manali (Full day local Sightseeing) (150 Kms)

Day 5Manali – Solang (Full day local Sightseeing) (150 Kms)

After Breakfast Visit Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel (known as shooting point) and enjoy Ski Himalayan Cable Car Ride (at our cost), here you can enjoy adventure activities like Paragliding, Atv Scooter, Rafting, Snow Scooter, Zorbing, Ice Ski etc (at your own cost). Day 6Manali - Dharamshala (235 Kms)

Day 7Dharamshala – Dalhousie (120 Kms)

Day 8Dalhousie (Full day trip to Chamba & Khajjiar) (100 Kms)

After breakfast visit full day sightseeing first drive to Subash Bowli then to Bakrota hills and Lakkarmandi reach Khajjiar full day excursion. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 9Dalhousie – Amritsar (200 Kms)

After Breakfast Drive towards Amritsar. Visit Golden Temple the holiest shrines for the Sikhs. The architecture of Golden Temple is a blend of Hindu and Muslims architecture. Visit Jallianwala Bagh- which is just the walking distance from the Golden Temple. Jalianwala has a special importance attached to it with respect to India’s freedom struggle On April 13, 1919 on the auspicious day of Baisakhi hundreds of men,women and children sacrificed their lives in front of ruthless firing of the British forces. Then visit Wagah Border which is famous for its ‘Retreat’ ceremony at the time of sunset. During evening armed soldiers, both Indian as well as Pakistani, fully decked in their uniform enacts a particularly hostile parade marked by lowering of their respective flags and closing the border gates. The changing of the guards and the ceremonial lowering of the flags is carried out with great pomp and fervor. Check in the hotel. Evening is free to explore interesting shopping destinations. Amritsar city is famous for its traditional handicraft and handloom products including phulkari, lacquered woodwork and jewelry etc. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 10Amritsar- Chandigarh (230 Kms)

Checkout from Hotel and drive towards Chandigarh. Dropping at Chandigarh railway station / airport for onward journey.
